Good value ($100 for night) for a studio apartment. Good location (subway, cafes, shopping centre). Very clean.
The apartment was next to an elevator and was noisy on and off till about 1 am.

Montreal Studio was a great location, great price, had a small kitchen which was perfect for our 3 nights (fridge, stove, sink, dishes and cutlery). Because it is not a hotel, there is not a ‘front desk’, but the staff who meet you to give you your key and collect it at the end, where super friendly and very helpful. The location was amazing! We could walk to everything, as it is right near the downtown (mall, restaurants, Metro, cafes, night life). We even walked to Old Port Montreal by the water, which took about 25 minutes. Because I had read all of the reviews before I came, I knew to bring my own extra towels, hand soaps, extra toilet paper, and that there would be no ‘front desk’, or ‘daily cleaning staff’. It is basically like renting a bachelor apartment for a small amount of time. We had air conditioning that worked really well as we were there in humid summer weather, a tv, and a double comfy bed. It was perfect for 3 nights of adventuring around the city and attending a music festival. If you want a simple place to stay that is not super luxurious, but clean and very practical with a great price, this is it. The décor was super cute too, with modern decorations and furniture. We also found free parking on the same street as the Studio which was great! If not, there are 2 pay lots on both sides of the street that are easy to find. Overall, we loved our little studio, and would totally go back and recommend it to other travellers!
The Montreal Studio is wonderful, but it helps to know ahead of time that it is not a hotel. There is no ‘front desk’ or ‘daily cleaning staff’. It is basically an apartment that you rent out for a specified amount of time. As long as you know this ahead of time, you will know what to expect when you arrive, and you will be very pleased, as it is quite a neat little place! The water at times wasn’t always super hot, but it was ok most of the time. Other than that, if you know to bring your own supplies, like extra toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels and an extra towel to shower with and one to use in the kitchen, you will be fine. If you are prepared, you will love this place!

Very nice, clean room. Nice design. Amazing view. Perfect location. Great value.
Only complaint: We were given keys with an incorrect address. It took the very helpful security person over an hour to figure out the mix up and get us to the correct location. There should be a better system for knowing who goes where. After that, everything was great. Oh, and the oven in our unit did not work.

The room was excellent. the staff of the hotel helped before and during my stay. The location of the hotel was perfect. It was worth every single penny.

The location was excellent and the fact that it was a studio room was nice compared to a regular hotel room.
Check in was difficult and there is only someone available a few hours a day for check in or any other needs.

Good location. Cheap.
Noisy air conditioner, noisy street, grubby room, rude site manager.

The bed was comfortable, the shower was strong and the internet was free. Nothing else.
It's not an hotel, it's just an apartment you rent for a few days. No new towels, no replacement of toilet paper once you've finished, no new sheets, no reception, no outside phone calls and actually no one to check out after I waited 30m for someone to come. Plus I had to wait 40m for someone to come and actually open the door for me.

It's not the Ritz, but it's in a good location. Free wifi. Air conditioning. Parking (paid) no problem. The bed is OK, there was a hair dryer, and (rare in hotels) there were enough clothes hangers...
Obviously the management is not striving after slick perfection here, it's an old building, so there's obvious shabbiness, but something might be done about the wobbly toilet bowl, the thin curtians, and the drafty window panel above the air conditio ning unit. There's no staff on site, and if there's a problem (we had forgotten to ask for the access code to the wifi) not always easily reachable by phone

Oh the best part was the fact that the keys didnt work half the time and the bed was stained and the fire alarm went off twice in one day in which the whole building was evacuated both times. There was also no hot water and the toilet was running loudly our entire stay.

Since all the hotels were full, this alternative at a decent location was ok. The fact that it had kitchen facilities was nice. The bed was comfortable.
The place was run down and in disrepair with only cosmetic maintenance. The WiFi worked intermittently and the lack of electric outlets made it hard to work on the computer. There was supposedly an office open 9-18, but there was never anybody there (it would be easy to change the sign). The saving grace was that it was cheap.

The best thing about staying here was the location, the kitchenette, and free WiFi. Museums, shopping, food, parks, and the Old City was very accessible by train and bus, or was within walking distance.
The hallways stunk very badly. I had to hold my breath when I would leave and return to the studio. The floor and towels were so filthy. There was some noisy construction going on next door and just outside at odd hours during my stay. The walls are fairly thin and you can hear the neighbors. Terrace was a bit questionable and looked unsafe. Also, limited outlets for electrical devices.
